it's given f(x) =a tan bx in the plot we are given a point (pi/12,-2) i.e at x=pi/12 f(x)=-2 since we are getting y=-2 at x=pi/12 that means the solution of tan bx will be either +1 or -1 i.e b(pi/12)=npi/4 b=3n since the graph looks similar to graph of -tanx means a is negative and tanbx is positive so b*pi/12=pi/4 or b=3 y=a*tan3x at x=pi/12 y =-2 so a=-2 b=3
