Loretta was on a vacation when her wallet was stolen by the time she reported her 3 credit cards missing the criminal had charged over 10000 on each card. How much of this will loretta have to pay

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

Real world answer: Depending on the credit card company policy, and how quickly she took action, she may no have to pay anything. Math answer 10,000 times 3 dollars. :(

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

typo: She may (not) have to pay anything. Also, she may have to pay SOME of it, like, whatever was on the balance BEFORE her card was reported stolen. :)

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

WARNING -- When you get a credit card, NEVER take out more money than you can actually pay off in that month. The "Minimum payment" is a TRAP. No lie. Remember this, it's YOUR money they (the credit card companies) are stealing.

Good luck on your test. :)
