OpenStudy (msmr):

fill in the blank: Human Blood types show ___ inheritance (most likely: autosomal dom/rec or sex linked)

OpenStudy (blues):

Autosomal inheritance.

OpenStudy (msmr):

is it dominant or recessive, or just generically autosomal?

OpenStudy (blues):

It's actually autosomal codominant. You have two possible alleles, A and B. When both chromosomes have an A allele, the person will be AA. When both chromosomes have a B allele, the person will be B B. When one chromosome has an A and the other has a B, the person will be A B. And when neither an A or B allele is present, the person will be O. Helpful?

OpenStudy (msmr):

thank you!

OpenStudy (preetha):

Good answer Blues, Nice clear explanation.
