How are substances transported through pteridophyta? :) please help! thank you so much!

OpenStudy (blues):

Ferns are vascular plants (it says so on Wikipedia) so I assume that water and nutrients are just transported through the usual xylem / phloem tissues found in other plants. I'm a biophysicist, not really a plant person.
