Question

i seem to be having problems with the example programs. when i copy them into and run them through python, i get error messages having to do with syntax on my print statements and indentation errors. only a few programs i copied from the lectures work. otherwise i get the syntax errors for the print statements. does anyoe have any suggestions?

which version of python are you using?

if it is 3.x you will need to use parentheses with your print statements.

print ("use parens to enclose your call")
print ()
