you are making a banner you have a sheet of paper that is 2 m wide and u want t leave a 35 cm blank margin on either side how many centimeters can you usee for text?

I'm assuming you're looking for area to write in? Area = width x height. First you'll wanna convert the measurements to match up. Width = 200 cm minus the blank margin for EACH side. 200 cm - 2(35cm) = Width. = 130 Height is where I'm not sure what you want. if it's unknown throw an 'X' in there. H = X cm - 2(35) cm. so \[W \times (X-70)\] You can go from there.
