OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = -x + 4

OpenStudy (espex):

What are you trying to solve?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im trying to state the slope and y-intercept of that question

OpenStudy (espex):

Well slope is y=mx+b, so you already have your format, and the y intercept is going to be when x=0.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright keep going

OpenStudy (espex):

Keep going where? That's it. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=0 thats the answer?

OpenStudy (espex):

A formal writing of slope-intercept form of that equation would be: y=-1x+4, so the slope would be -1 and the y intercept is 4 because if x were 0 then y=4.
