i have lots of trouble asnwering questions like these

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is not bad. The trapezoid area needs to be factoring in two right triangles in its corner.

OpenStudy (waheguru):

yea but then how do i know the area of the small triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Small triangles - they have two sides that are each 10 cm (0.1m). You need to compute their areas as 1/2 * base * height = 1/2 * 0.1 * 0.1 m^2.
