how do i find the slope of a line ? Y=1over 2x=+2.3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you can find the slope a line (1) given equation of a line (2) given 2 ordered pairs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the equation of a line is \[y=mx+b\] where m is the slope. Slope is defined as RISE over RUN, in other words how far you move up and how far you move sideways. in your case \[y=1/2x\] m = 1/2 where your rise is 1 and your run is 2, so you would go up 1 and over 2.
