inequalities are used in real life when you talk about static friction in physics. static friction varies based on the normal force and can have a value anywhere above 0 to mu of s * N perpendicular, where mu of s is the static coefficient of friction and N perpendicular is the perpendicular component of the normal force to the frictional force that opposes motion. 0<= static friction max <= (mu of s) * (N perp)
