OpenStudy (liliakarina):
Contains ribosomes, attached to external surface; these ribosomes are in form of polysomes. This rericulum is involved in secretion, storage and synthesis of proteins. Dictyosomes secrete glycoproteins (carbohydrates + protein), the proteic portion is synthesized in the rough endoplasmic reticulum (R.E.R.), and then passes to the dictyosome where the carbohydrate portion is synthesized.
