Help Please A group of 9 friends go bowling. How many different possibilities are there for the order in which they play if the youngest person is to bowl first. Please explain your answer. Thanks

OpenStudy (mathmate):

If the youngest person goes first, there are 8 possible choices for the next player, 7 for the next, and so on. By the multiplication principle, there are 8*7*6*5...*2*1=8!=40320 possible different orders.
