If they need 8 liters of the final drink at a cost of $1.24 per liter, how many liters of each juice will they need to make their specialty drink?

X=8-y then plug in 8-y into 1.2x+1.4y=1.24
1.2(8-y)+1.4y=9.92 then you will multiple out
9.6-1.2y+1.4y=9.92 add the y's together and subtract 9.6 from 9.92
0.2y=0.32 then divide by 0.2
Y=1.6 next you will plug y back in to the equation x=8-y
X=8-1.6 then solve for x
X=6.4
