add 4 to both sides
x2 - 4x + 4 = 32 + 4
(x-2)(x-2)=36

I can help you with the first part...

completing the square:

1) take the constant term to the other side so that your equation becomes
    
     $$x ^{2} -4x = 32$$

2) now completing the square...
  
    take the coefficient of x...which is -4 , divide it by 2 which gives you -2 and square it...
which gives you 4...add this 4 to both sides of the equation which then gives you

$$x ^{2}-4x+4 = 32 + 4$$

3) now the brackets part...

take the coefficient of the x term (-4) and divide it by 2 = -2

your perfect square becomes : 

$$(x-2)^{2} = 36$$

4) now just solve algebraically...

(x-2) = $$\pm6$$

therefore 

$$x = 2 \pm 6$$

so x is 2 + 6 = 8

or

    x is 2-6 = -4
