Solve the following system of equations. x - y = 10 2x + y = 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=4, y=-6

hmmm, not really an appropriate screen name :/ right answer tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since there is a negative and positive 'y' add both the equation to get rid of the 'y' and rest out is 3x=12.divide 3 on both sides and you'll get x=4.plug x into a equationto get y=-6.
