oh, sorry I was doing this from another book, Python Programming, intro to comp sci. I still had trouble importing files from IDLE to use on the Python command. I dont' know what to save the file to when done, so I can import it. I'll try to watch the video again, it's hard to see what he types sometimes. any help will be appreciated

you may check the handouts to see if what he has typed is there.  It's under "related resources" on the video page.
