they are made up of elements, like sulfur, carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, and phosphorous. and cells are living, since they have homeostasis, metabolism, reproduction, etc...
elements are composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons. Some peole say those are made of smaller things, but I don't know
