a student's work to simplify & combine radicals is shown below. select the statement which best applies to the sample mathematical work. given -sqrt{12} -2sqrt{3}, i observe that sqrt {12} = sqrt{4x3} and that 4 is a perfect square, so i simplify to the expression -2sqrt{3}-2sqrt{3}. i can then combine these terms to get -4sqrt{3} which is my answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it that i erroneously attemped to combine terms with different indices or did not properly simplify the radicals? or did not properly combine the radicals terms? or is it correct and there is no error?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is correct.

correct and there is no error
