A zucchini plant in Darnell’s garden was 12 centimeters tall when it was first planted. Since then, it has grown approximately 0.5 centimeter per day. Write a rule to describe the function. After how many days will the zucchini plant be 0.185 meter tall?

the function rule is:--> 12 + 0.5d = 18.5

where d stands for days

fot the second part, convert the 0.185 metres to cm first so you get 18.5cm

and then equate it to the funtion.

so: 12 + 0.5d = 18.5

0.5d = 6.5

and d = 13...so 13 days
