3- nuclear membrane and nucleolus disspear, spindle fibre move to opposite direction. 2- chromosomes algin in a straight line(metaphase plate) and spindle fibre attached to each centromere of the chromosomes. this stage end when chromosomes split 1- spindle fibre shorten and split the chromosomes into 2. this stage end when the chromosomes reach both side 4- nuclear membrane and nucleolus reform
