Explain at a molecular level what happens during latent heat of fusion or evaporation

when heating, lantent heat of vaporization occur as the molecules absorb the heat energy(to break the attraction force between other molecules) or release the heat energy(release the energy), thus the temperature of the substance remain unchange. It is almost same like lantent heat of fussion
