it's because of language difference in lithuanian you can use male notation in certain conditions and it would refer to both male and female :D

MissPacGirl, 3 and 2 produce a product of 6. Where as 2.5 and 2.5 produce a product of 6.25. Now, if the problem said the numbers are integers, then whole different story.
