A dragster starting from rest accelerates at 72 m/s(Squared). How fast is it going when it has traveled 325 m?

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you can use the following equation from dynamics ( http://www.physicsforidiots.com/dynamics.html) to solve your question:\[v^2=u^2+2as\]where \(v\) is the final velocity, \(u\) is the initial velocity (zero is your case), \(a\) is the acceleration (72 m/s^2 in your case) and \(s\) is the distance travelled (325 m) in your case
