how can you draw lim(x)= 4 x->2 from the left?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is there such limit like that? I just made it up myself trying to understand limits...:)

OpenStudy (zarkon):

are you asking if there is a function \(f\) such that \[\lim_{x\to2^{+}}f(x)=4\]

OpenStudy (zarkon):

\[\lim_{x\to2^{-}}f(x)=4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry yes, that's the correct form...and how do you graph it? I know when x approaches 2 from the left it is closer to 4, how would you graph it?

OpenStudy (zarkon):

What do you mean by graph it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

like is there a graphic explanation to it? Drawing lines and curves....?
