The temperature was 56 degrees this morning but dropped one degree per hour through the rest of the day. Read over problem and look at the graph you made to decide how to answer this question. Would it make sense to predict the temperature in 45 hours? Why or why not (required).

OpenStudy (mathmate):

The diurnal temperatures usually vary within a cycle of period 24 hours. Since the observations (dropped one degree per hour) does not seem to be over multiple days, it will not account for the expected lower temperatures of the night, and the warming up in the morning. Therefore, the limited observations will not give a good estimate of temperatures over 45 hours.
