I really need help with supplementary angles can someone help plz

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats your question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok the question is asking me to solve for 1 & 2 this is what they gave me 13x+82

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are going to have to giv me more than that....is that for one angle or does 13x+82 =180?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what it says i have been doing ok in my college classes till they hit geometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

13x+82 doesnt state anything....its doesnt even equal andything

OpenStudy (anonymous):

,,just remember that when we say supplementary angles that mean two angles when sum up gives 180 degrees..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you type out the problem for us?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i will try

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is asking what the measurements for 1 & 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok...does the problem state anything else like angle one is 13x and angle two is measured at 82 degrees anything like that would be helpful becuase just saying 13x+82 doesnt help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it shows 1 & 2 expressions it says solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1 and 2 expressions? well if 13x+82=180 then x would equal about 7.5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

....but you ddidnt state anything....all you have said so far is to find 1 and 2 and then gave us random numbers by saying here 13x+82...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(13x+82) +(x)=180 is full problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

tthats alot more help thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x=7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry had to read on

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so just lpug x in and you have your two angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug**

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any questions on how i got that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m1=13x=82 m1=13(7)+82 i came up with 151 is that right or did i do something wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it wants me to reduce to simpler terms can you explain how to do this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think thats as simple as it gets

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i appreciate your help i entered 151 and got it wrong i guess its something i did wrong in problem i really dont get math but i need it for my career when i start it
