I don't know how to solve this system of equations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't know how to get ride of the W

OpenStudy (matt101):

Which pair of equations are you looking at?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well the problem is to find the value of the F's and those are all the equations i have i need to obtain every f as a function of W

OpenStudy (matt101):

Ok so here's where you start. Look at he second pair of equations. Norice that they both have Fed and Fbe, but the second also has a W. In the one without a W, isolate for either variable, then sub that into the second equation. Then do the same for the opposite variable. This way, you will be able to express W in terms of Fed or Fbe. Try that and tell me what you get.

mmm ok, i'll do it! thank you

matt seems right, this kind of problems requires no more than simple algebraic manipulation. However you could use strong tools like Gauss seidal if you want.
