n the circle A, arc MN is 1/4 of the circle and on the circle K, its 1/3 of the circle. If radii of the circles are 8 and 3, which is the sum of the lengths of arcs NM on both circles?

the circumference of a circle = 2pir so arc nm on large circle = 1/4 * 2pi*8 = 4pi arc nm on small circle = 1/3 * 2pi*3 = 2pi sum of lengths of arcs = 6pi
