How do you see if there is a Rat in your computer? and i mean "rat" as in a program that takes control of your computer..

Any decent program of that type would hide or take control of any process list, so trying to find it on a running computer is really difficult. The easiest way would be to study the boot sequence to see what is being started, and then check a checksum or hash of those binaries against known good binaries. The amount of effort involved make it simpler to wipe and redo the box.
