I need to know if you have to cite yourself in APA style if the work you want to reuse has not been published?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You cite things to give credit to work that ISN'T YOURS. Since the work is not only yours, but also unpublished, citing it would be redundant. You don't need to. If you've submitted your work somewhere (like for a class) already, then you'll have to. Just use the same guidelines you wold otherwise. Last name, first initial, year... etc. try googling citation machine. they do all the work for you. =]
