OpenStudy (anonymous):

Am I blind or there's no fractions in equation editor?

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

i believe this question can go in the feedback place too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is in feedback group :P

OpenStudy (karatechopper):

o oops! hahahhaha im blind

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

There is indeed not. We should probably add it. It's just ugly right now (it's \frac{numerator}{denominator}). I'd been hoping to let you do (numerator / denominator), but that turns out to be tougher than it sounds heh.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why it's ugly? Matrix is more uglier and in equation editor you would just need to click on fraction symbol and it's made automatically and you need to type numbers only

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Yeah, I meant to make matrices easier too haha. We'll add it. Thanks for reminding us!

OpenStudy (pokemon23):

I'm having problems inserting numbers in equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what do you mean?

OpenStudy (pokemon23):

like the equation box it hard for me

OpenStudy (pokemon23):

can you guys make it easier to add in numbers or something that can be easier to used?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Not sure what you mean. You can just type numbers. Additionally, you don't need to use the equation editor. You'll notice that the equation editor just inserts some code between \ [ and \ ]. You can do the same without using the equation editor and things will work correctly.

OpenStudy (turingtest):

you can also use {x over y} if you are in equation format

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh cool so u can write in latex {x \over y} \[x\over y\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should also include \(\cap\) intersection since you have included \(\cup\) union
