What is my chance to entry to MIT? I have minimum requirements as good grades, letters of recommendation, I practice soccer and handball. What's my chance?

Probably around 10% as this was their acceptance rate in 2009 source: http://tech.mit.edu/V129/N13/admissions.html and http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2007/admissions-2011-0404.html

What do you provide to society? Are you an active member of your community - local or even extended? Do you help others? Yes answers are only in support of acceptance. As far as MIT is concerned each of these have to be coupled with the yes answer to this question. Is it proven on paper? What I'm getting at is philanthropy, but don't stop there. What career path are you considering, dabble in it if you can. You play soccer and handball, do you coach/officiate for youth soccer or handball? You might not realize it, but these factors are far more important. And not just for your selection to MIT.
