A point has two dimensions, is a fixed location in space, and is named with one capital letter. true or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well a 2d point has 2 dimensions and is in a plane; a 3d point has 3 dimensions and is in space. if it's in 2 dimensions then it's not in space, it's in a plane. and either way, a point can have any name you want it to.

thanks also a point has no dimension

OpenStudy (anonymous):

true

i guess one might more accurately say a 2d point has 2 basis vectors or something.
