MIT 18.01 Single Variable Calculus (OCW) 14 Online

is this the first course you should take if you want to learn calculus? i.e. is it the easiest?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You should probably start with precalculus with trigonometry if it's available (I didn't really check). It helps build a foundation for calculus.

However this is the first level of calculus after precalc.

Check out nixty.com for basic algebra and trig. I recommend having a solid foundation in these two areas before moving on to calc. This even more important if you are trying to learn it by yourself.

learn algebra, trigonometry, learn basic high school concepts on functions (precalculus) and, finally, analitic geometry is quite important
