What about the idea of rewarding 'Good Questions'? For example, 'How would you explain how to do this equation?' Personally, I'm a fan of when people ask why, not what.
Oh, you just sit tight and be patient for a week or two ;)
Haha, cheers ;)
hmm sounds good
That is an exciting answer! :D
We're pretty pumped too. It's been on our to-do list for way too long :)
good idea.
It would be nice too, if getting a medal on a question marked as a "good question" was worth more XP. That way very difficult questions can be worth more XP and people who can do harder problems move up the ranks more quickly. Perhaps it would also be in order to have some special bonus for helping someone on the same problem for a prolonged amount of time; say at least a half-hour. Of course, you'd need to avoid people posting multiple questions on the same line to avoid abuse of this reward.
do we have a new mod? congrats cshalvey!
Yep, we've considered this mechanic too (better questions act as multipliers on medals given in them).
We won't be doing it initially, but we're definitely thinking about how it could work.
was tht one to mine?^
Haha no, that was a late reply to TuringTest sorry.
