The Haitian Slave Rebellion lasted from 1791 to 1794. In 1793, France declared war on Great Britain. What main effect did the war with Great Britain have on France's role in the Haitian Rebellion? Answer France did not have enough troops or supplies to defeat the slaves. France used supplies they stole from the British to crush the rebellion. France had to eventually move the slaves to New Orleans to end the conflict. France agreed to align with America against their common enemy Great Britain.
