Sentence A has a dangling modifier since "while reading the paper" can't be a modifier of the subject, "coffee". Coffee can't read the paper. :/

Sentence B has unparallel construction since the descriptions made to Lillian were not constant. First, she was described with adjectives, "witty" and "wealthy" then she was described using a verb, "owns a gorilla".

Sentence C, too, has a dangling modifier since "when answering the phone" can't be a modifier of the subject of the sentence which is the "books". Likewise, the books can't answer the phone, can they? :))
