Can mutation, transduction, conjugation, and transformation occur in meiosis?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no.......... transduction, conjugation and transformation are the processes of genetic recombination in prokaryotes like bacteria in which the genetic material is transferred to one bacteria from another. and for mutation we can say that there is overlapping of chromatin thread in meiosis so indirect mutation it could be because the DNA sequence is changing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mutation is any random change in the sequence......So it can happen during both meosis and mitosis. Transduction, conjugation and transformation has nothing to do with meosis.
