Can you actually kick yourself from a group?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

join new group and try it

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

You should not be able to.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But I tried in one group and pressed kick, it said 'Are you sure you want to kick pratu043 from this group?'

OpenStudy (farmdawgnation):

As I recall, the system will prompt you for confirmation to kick yourself, but won't actually follow through when you click OK. I remember this from trying to test it on myself when I was adding the button back to the tooltips.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah you can even kick people who are not in particular group but (probably) nothing happens as I wrote here http://openstudy.com/?F1254419272231EN4HE4=_#/updates/4ef4a958e4b0b939c747d639

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Correct. There's a check that's a bit further back than the point where we prompt you if you want to kick someone. The kick does not go through.

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

Also pratu, before I forget, please change your avatar so it isn't the same as Owlfred's. Owlfred being our mascot and one of the important users on here who speaks for OpenStudy, we'd rather his avatar remain unique. Thanks!

I've changed it.....
