what equation represents a line that is parallel to the line y=3-2x?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=-2x+c where c can be any real number.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait can you explain this to me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the only thing that we need to worry about with parallel lines is having the same slope. in slope intercept form, the -2 is the slope and the 3 is the y intercept. it doesn't matter where the intercept lies for the new line to be parallel, we just need the slopes to be equal.
