5x-3y=9 Can someone explain this to us?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

what are you trying to do with it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We are trying to find y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you could change that into the form y=mx+b if you want to graph it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=5/3x-3

OpenStudy (turingtest):

1)add 3y to both sides 2)subtract 9 from both sides 3)divide both sides by 3 this will get y all alone...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thank you ~!
