why do seeds germinate better in neutral soil?
if soil is acidic it can damage the root or internal process going inide the seed or if soil is basic then it also effect the internal process like wihtin seed it need water if it ll be neutral it will not react with ither substance present in solution but if it is basic or acidic in nature it may react or form harmful substance or may also change the process
Plants prefer to grow on medium which can full-fill their nutrition need. It may be acidic basic or neutral. Most of the plants grow on neutral soil because in acidic or basic medium seed can be germinate bt the radical or plumule that germinate and emerges out cant tolerate that abnormal environment because they are not adopted to that. carnivorous plants can grow on acidic medium. so ph does not effect the seed germination bt it alter the growth of seedling.
