Question

Why is the medal status of a question (at its bottom right) sometimes shown in grey and sometimes in red?
I am using Google Chrome browser v15.0.874.106

I also see sometimes red sometimes gray but it's happening not only in chrome, firefox too

So, whenever medals have been given in a question the text should instantly change to grey when medal count is updated. Hm. Is that not working?

I am pretty sure I saw red text with medals few minutes ago, but it doesn't show to me right now, lol

It's not impossible that this is a browser bug. The way that color is styled uses a selector that browsers kind of suck at right now. They're working on it, though.

That's the idea. It looks like sometimes the color doesn't update properly, though.

i just was in math group and there was red with medals, then i switch to this group and switch back to math group and it's gray now

for me. no matter how many times I switch between groups, I still see a mixture of red/grey medals
