It would be useful to have a concept of giving an answer in a hidden form so only the question maker can it. This would allow others to answer without seeing the answers already given.

Hm. Not a terrible idea, but it's going to be pretty low on priority list. Definitely see the usefulness though :)
I think if you add a little bit of "fun" to any learning environment then people tend to learn more. I would consider this such a feature. I would use it to, say, set a monthly brain teaser for everyone to take part in.
If it makes the implementation easier, you could the ability to "Set a Quiz.." as well as "Ask a question..." where "Set a Quiz..." would only show the answers given to the Quiz setter who would also be allowed to "reveal" some or all of the answers (e.g. at the end of the Quiz).
I love that idea. I like the idea of challenging OpenStudy brains!
