Car is moving on the circumference of a rotating merry-go-round . is it experiencing a Coriolis effect ? and if so, why and in which direction ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the car would only feel the coriolis effect if it was moving from the center to the the edge of the merry go round.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And even then, I doubt it would feel it at all. It's only when things are moving over great distances without acceleration - for instance, artillery fire - that the Coriolis effect is at all significant.

can anyone answer , use the ideal gas law to explain the changes in temperature, pressure and volume of the coolant gas at the compressors stage of its refrigeration
