My English professor wants me to write an essay comparing 2 characters from 2 films we watched in class. (1 character for each film). He wants it in an APA format. Where can I find an APA format for this kind of paper?
The below link is a good place. http://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/
APA format would be useful for your references. Not for the essay itself.
APA can be very confusing when writing an essay with citations/references. I also struggle in this area, but the best place that I have found, other than the purdue owl, is at my college's online Library. Your school has some kind of a library and I bet you can find some resources on how to properly cite and list references for an essay. Note that for APA formatting, you must use in-text citations as well as references at the end of the paper.
hdgreen, when doing the essay, I only have to do in text citation if i quote someone or something right? To make it simple for myself, I didn't use any word for word quotes I just explained it in my own words. Do i site my source (the films) at the end in apa format though?
