Does drinking a drink with ice cubes make your life shorter? Because my little sister says it does.

i dont think so its right as the ice cube is just a solid state of water that's it,drinking water or just having an ice cube in ur drink its the same thing,how could an ice cube makes life shorter?

Well, I know that ice is just water. I am not a first grader :). Just my sister got it from her science teacher. I don't know how it could make your life shorter, but I was wondering just in case it could!
