Insert suitable preposition: I'm going ________ London by car tomorrow. 1. no preposition 2. to My guess is "2". Please let me know if this is correct.
Yes it is 2
thank you. can you help me with other questions?
I can try, so shoot
ok, i won't be back ____ after midnight. on / at / to /until ?
my guess is until.
I'm going to London & be back until are the correct answers. May I suggest something that might help you with these kinds of sentences? If you already know this then disregard, but it helps me to say the sentence out loud with each possible answer and usually I can come up with the correct answer because the wrong ones just sound wrong. Example-I won't be back on after midnight. (sounds wrong, doesn't make sense) I won't be back at after midnight. (again it sounds wrong and it doesn't make sense). Good luck, hope this helps.
I believe you are correct that it is until
yup. it is "to"....when in doubt just say the sentence out loud and go with what fits in perfectly while saying it but in some cases you must follow the rules... :)
and the second one seems like until, you are right!
