Which method will you be using, elimination or substitution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x = 9 y = 21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but my answer choose are 21 -21 9 -9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Hmmm ... which method did you use? Or do you just need the answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just need the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh .... I am here to help with a study group ...

Doodle Tech has the correct answer, I am not sure why your multiple choice question does not ..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So what is the problem??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is how I did it. I multiplied the second equation by 2, and added both equations to eliminate y. 7x - 2y = 21 8x + 2y = 114 15x = 135 x = 9
