Can anyone tell me if this is correct? Determine if (1/3, -5) is a solution to -3x - 10y = 51 . Please show all of your work. -3x - 10y = 51 -3(1/3) - 10(-5) = 51 -3/3 + 50 = 51 -1 + 50 = 51 49 = 51 So my answer would be: No (1/3, -5) are not solutions to -3x - 10y =51.
